Ryzen 8000G series specifications confirmed by Asus and Asrock

A couple of weeks ago, Ryzen 8000G APU lineup processor models, detailed specifications along with performance graphs were leaked. This time, the specifications of the lineup of processors have been leaked once again, in other words confirmed by Asus and Asrock. The processors are available on the official motherboard support list on their website.

A total of 6 processor names of G and G pro series have been seen in Asus’s leaked processor list. The processors are: Ryzen 3 8300G, Ryzen 3 Pro 8300G, Ryzen 5 8500G, Ryzen 5 8600G, Ryzen 5 Pro 8500G and Ryzen 7 8700G.

  • The base clock of Ryzen 3 8300G and Pro 8300G is mentioned to be 3.45 GHz, 65 Watt power and the processor will have 8 MB of L3 Cache. Asus has also confirmed that these are quad core processors.
  • Ryzen 5 8500G, 5 Pro 8500G and Ryzen 5 8600G, these 3 6 core processors have 16 MB Level 3 Cache and 65 Watt TDP. The base clock is 3.35 GHz, 4.35 GHz and 3.55 GHz respectively.
  • Ryzen 7 8700G has 4.2 GHz base clock, 8 cores, 65 Watt TDP and 16 MB of cache memory.
  • By B2 it is understood that these will contain Hawk Point’s NPU.
  • Note that the Ryzen 3 8300G, Pro 8300G and 8500G will have Zen4 as well as Zen4c cores.

Asrock leaked some additional information:

AMD Ryzen 7 8700G is spotted on Asrock Motherboard’s memory support page in their CPU-Z screenshot. From here it is officially confirmed that the Ryzen 7 8700G will support up to 256 GB of memory. It is also confirmed that it will have RDNA3 Based Radeon 780M GPU through this screenshot.

Note that earlier we got to know the names and specifications of total 14 SKUs in the 8000G series including Pro, GE and Pro GE Variant. There is no official information on when the processors will hit the market, but it can be assumed that AMD will officially announce these processors this January and then they will hit the market.
