Last March, Qualcomm launched the premium grade Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It’s actually a downgraded version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that debuted in October last year. This processor has already been used in several smartphones like Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Redmi Turbo 3 and iQOO Z9 Turbo. And now a tipster claims that Realme is going to launch their next phone in China with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, called Realme GT Neo 6.
Realme GT Neo 6 Chipset Name and Charging Speed
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT Neo 6 will be the only model among the phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 to offer a super-fast charging solution of more than 100W. Along with its claims, the combination of large battery and over 100W fast charging could be attractive to many smartphone users.
Note that the Xiaomi CV4 Pro has a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, while the Redmi Turbo 3 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging. The iCo Z9 Turbo packs a massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging. Recently a Realme phone with model number RMX3852 has been approved by China Compulsory Certification (3C) authorities. Its listing reveals that the device will come with a 121W fast charger.
Speculations are rife that the Realme GT Neo 6 phone will be similar to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which debuted in China recently. So, the GT Neo 6 is likely to support a 5,500mAh battery and 121W fast charging.
Besides, the Realme GT Neo 6 is expected to be similar to its SE variant in terms of other specifications. Realme GT Neo 6 SE, launched in early April, has a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE has a dual-camera system on the rear panel comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. And a 32 megapixel front camera is located in front of the phone.
