Redmi launched the Redmi K70 series in China last November. The sale of Redmi K70, Redmi K70e and Redmi K70 Pro under this series starts from the beginning of December. Within the first 14 days of the first sale, the sales of the Redmi K70 series touched 1 million or 1 million units. This time, the company announced another record. Redmi said that the sale of Redmi K70 series has crossed 2 million or 20 lakhs within 60 days.

Redmi K70 series sales cross the 2 million mark

According to the figures released by the company, overall, the Redmi K70 series is selling over 33,000 units of smartphones on an average every day. Notably, the Redmi K70e, standard Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro are Xiaomi’s first Redmi-branded phones to run on the latest HyperOS software skin based on Android 14.

Redmi K70E starts at 1,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 23,535) in China. It is the world’s first handset to feature the MediaTek Dimension 8300-Ultra chipset. The rebranded version of the phone has been launched in the global market as Poco X6. On the other hand, the standard Redmi K70 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and prices start at 2,499 Yuan (roughly Rs. 29,420).

All in all, the Redmi K70 Pro is powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and has a starting price of 3,299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 38,840) in China. It is rumored that the Redmi K70 may be rebranded as Poco F6 Pro in the global market. However, the Redmi K70 Pro model may be limited to the Chinese market.
