Dual camera, with Snapdragon processor, Sony Xperia 10 VI on the verge of launch

Sony Xperia 1 VI, Sony Xperia 5 VI and Sony Xperia 10 VI smartphones are soon to be added to Sony’s Xperia lineup this year. Speculations about the phones are already buzzing online. Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia 10 VI codenamed “Parrot” has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark database, revealing some key specs like its processor, RAM capacity and performance. Let’s take a look at them.

Sony Xperia 10 VI spotted on Geekbench database

Sony Xperia 10 VI phone with model number XQ-ES72 has been listed on Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to its listing, the upcoming Sony handset will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The device scored 934 points in the single-core test and 2,816 points in the multicore test on the Geekbench 6.2.2 platform. According to the benchmark database, the Sony Xperia 10 VI handset will come with 8GB of RAM and will run Android 14-based operating system.

However, recent reports suggest that the Sony Xperia 10 VI will also come in a 6GB RAM variant. The leaked renders also revealed what the device will look like. It has dual camera (primary and ultra-wide) sensors on the back and will also offer a 3.5mm audio jack. However, no further details about the Xperia 10 VI have been revealed yet. But to get a glimpse of what it has to offer, one can look at the specifications of the predecessor Sony Xperia 10V phone.

Sony Xperia 10 V: Specifications

The Sony Xperia 10 V has a 6.1-inch OLED display with FullHD+ resolution, which will support 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card slot. For power backup, the Sony Xperia 10 V handset runs on a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 30W fast charging.
